This was a hands-on contest of iM@S MAD called by 江頭P (EgashiraP). Each movie is shortly and partly (15 seconds in trials, 30 seconds in semi finals, and one minute in final) exposed, then watchers vote the movie whose sequel one wants to watch. It is notable that uploaders (=creaters) were not allowed to give out their own handle name they usually used, becase the watchers were able to evaluate those movies unbiasedly. There were wide variety of participants in that contest. As a result, so many various MAD movies such as high-quality finished movies, entertaining movies, nonsense movies, and so on were submitted to the contest, the watchers produced squeals of delight ("I can't choose only one from those movies!"). That contest made a big success, so the 2nd and the 3rd contest were continuously held after that. On the other hand, the winning movie gave rise to a great (or vain in some ways) deal of discussion, whether it should be in the categoly of iM@S MAD or not. That was the histrical phenomenon as the pioneer hands-on contest in NicoM@S community, while that brought up considable aspects about intolerance and weakness the community faced.
