Today's first pickup is a MAD promotion video for "Hook Me Up" by The Veronicas, Australian duo of beautiful sisters. Its screen design using monochrome and silhouette effects is so cool and suited to the controlled music tone.

Though the original "I Saw Her Standing There" is The Beatles', this MAD movie uses a covered number. You may feel that idols' costume in this movie is a little strange, but the most of high school student girls in Japan during 1990s wore it.
